Green Line Quintet

The Green Line Quintet returns to Fingal’s Cave.

The Green Line Quintet, named after the Green Line Lightrail that runs through the University of Minnesota’s campus, is a group of friends and musicians dedicated to creating and performing music together. After a very successful year of playing together in the university’s jazz program, all 5 members decided to continue the group outside of school, hence The Green Line Quintet was born. They are constantly seeking to explore and incorporate other genres into their repertoire, providing fresh takes on old tunes, and bringing more modern songs into the jazz wheelhouse. The Green Line Quintet has been playing together for just over 2 years, and they don’t plan to stop any time soon.
